Experiences of Students with Disabilities: Insights for Enhancing Disability Services
On Tuesday, July 18, 2024, from 13:00 to 17:30 WIB, an interview was held with Tika and Ahlan, students with disabilities from UNU, in Room 801. Organized by the Center for GEDSI, the session involved four participants: Tika, Ahlan, Faidah, and JBI, who acted as the interpreter. The interview provided deep insights into the experiences of students with disabilities and served as an essential reflection for improving disability services at universities, particularly in the context of the British Council project. One challenge faced was the limited interview time due to the need for translation to ensure effective communication. This emphasized the importance of directly listening to their experiences as part of efforts to improve inclusive services.
